After getting it all setup, I noticed speed and high CPU usage of the Outlook.exe process.

From what I can tell, it seems that the issue is the way Outlook 2007 handles PST and OST files and that somehow, the Search Indexer causes problems, so I looked for a way to kill the search process altogether.

Step by Step Written Instructions

1. Close Outlook
2. Control Panel..Search.. Change how Windows Searches
3. Click Microsoft Office Outlook..click Modify
4. Accept the Security Warning
5. Click the Profile in the top section and place a check mark next to the Outlook Profile you want excluded from Indexing
6. Click OK once.
7. If you have done things correctly, you should see your Outlook Profile excluded from indexing.
8. So far it’s working for me
